A new year comes with new beginnings. And boy, what a beginning I had.

I moved into my new apartment on-campus, Sun-U Residence on the 4th of Jan, Sun. It would have been a lonely experience for me if not for my new apartment friends, like Jeff and Adli, a friend from VI (Thanks guys :) Adli introduced me to his apartment gang, who are all his classmates from the July Science 1 class intake. Dinners are usually either spent with daddy Jeff or Adli's gang, since I can't cook in my unit. I've been a regular visitor to these guys rooms to hang out, as girls are allowed to go to the guys apartments but not the other way round. Reason being that the guys block, Block A, have girls staying in their units.

During that week and a day (5th Jan - 12th Jan), I have had an interesting chronology of events:

5th Jan, Mon- I'll call it (dot.dot.dot.Like Mamma Mia) XP I think only a few of my closest friends knew what happened to me that night. Rather not talk about it since it's private. But I added this in just to make my chronology more filled out XD

7th Jan, Wed- For dinner, I went to my grandparents place in Kemuning, which is a 20 min drive from my college. When I came back that night, trouble ensued. I pissed Adli off big time, and we ended up not talking for about...2 weeks? Luckily I'm happy to say that we've since made up :) I'm just really sorry that it had to happen and thankful that I still kept a friend :)

9th Jan, Fri- Headed back to Ampang for Zuri's farewell BBQ at Hussein's. It was a great party; met up with my Taman TAR brothers and sisters and chilled with 'em like old times. Didn't expect to meet anyone there, with what I went through during THIS week. But apparently, I did -.-""

Let's call him DJ Bermuda, shall we? A big afficionado of Bermuda shorts cos he's a beach bum. And yeah, he's a DJ. And I'm here thinking, "Whoa man, I'm like one of the LAST PEOPLE on earth that'd be asked out by a DJ; being a self-confessed nerd and all" XD

Turns out he's a bit of a "nerd" himself, a sci-fi nerd that is. Also a mondo huge car fan, gadgets and gizmos, PC gamer, you name it. Super passionate about the latest machines <3

Back to what I was saying,

10th Jan, Sat- Headed to Youth '09 with Hibs Luv, sister byatch and byatch co XD Unexpectedly (and scarily, gah!!), Hibs LOVVVVES her SNAKES!! Will get around to posting up the pics soon, but in the meantime, go to my facebook and search Hiba Abdul Rahman for her profile pic of her with a baby python (Some baby, it's more than a FOOT LONG -.-")

And surprise surprise, bumped into Mistah Bermuda there too. He was invited to spin at the event. We walked and talked around PWTC together and well, he asked me out :D :D Took me by surprise I had to admit.

12th Jan, Mon- Had our dinner date at Sunway Pyramid since I'm already staying on-campus. Was really sweet of him to come all the way :) Ate at Mantra, an Italian/Indian/Msian fusion restaurant (that's where I recommended Jeff to go for his bday lunch :D) Also slurped on ice-cream at Baskins, and then headed off to Asian Cafe' for some pool with a friend, Jolene.

Anyways, like I said, a new year signifies new beginnings. And it's been a pretty whirlwind beginning for me, but slowly coming down to a sweet note :3
